Poland and street art, a love affair.
Poland is not only an Urban Art hotspot in Europe with Open-Air museums like Lodz (Łódź), Gdansk, Krakow and Wroclaw, but also the native country of some of the most creative and renowned urban artists worldwide.
I invite you to discover 25 Polish street artists who will dazzle you with their talent and creativity.

Etam Cru is the name that combines the two creative personalities of Bezt and Sainer. Both graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, and their work consists of frescoes, paintings and design. They have created a collection of colourful surreal murals that would impress even the most sceptical eye.

Mariusz Waras, better known as M-City, is an artist from Poland, who’s large-scale stencil creations, are imagined cityscapes inspired by impressions from his childhood in an industrial area. His work was featured at the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.

NeSpoon is a Polish artist who established herself in 2009. Her works ranges from street art, pottery, painting and sculpture to jewellery. Most of her work uses traditional laces, either made in clay or painted on walls.
Michał Wręga aka SEPE is a Polish street artist, born in 1982 in Warsaw, who obtained a degree in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts Łódź in 2009. SEPE also has a great interest in traditional book illustration and large scale poster design.
Natalia Rak, also known as Rak, is a Polish based street artist born in 1986. Rak uses brightly coloured paint to do multistory murals on the sides of buildings around the world.

Tankpetrol (based in UK)
Born in Poland in 1982. Today he is based in Manchester, UK. He originally came from the graffiti scene but today is known for stencil art, although he uses different techniques ranging from stencils, typography and traditional painting to freehand murals and fine woodwork. His artwork embraces the diversity of female characters. His vivid portraits evoke the emotional complexity of woman including fear, anger, nostalgia and self confidence. Tankpetrol’s murals can be seen in countries around the world including Iceland, Malaysia, Russia, France, Germany and Luxembourg. His canvases can be found in private collections all over the world.

Dimitris Taxis (based in Greece)
Dimitris Taxis lives and works in Athens, Greece. He was born in Szczecin, Poland.
He has been creating works on the streets of Athens for the past six years to great effect. His stylized colourful designs brighten up the city adding a touch of magic to forgotten areas.

Magda Ćwik (based in Spain)
Magda Ćwik is a multidisciplinary artist from Rzeszów (Poland). Her background in Fine Arts together with her passion to use a variety of mediums has lead her to engage herself in many projects in other disciplines including street art, graphic design and painting. Her work is a blend of flowing abstract shapes and elements mixed with human features and distinct bold colours that brings her work to life.

1010 (born in Poland and now based in Germany)
1010 started doing graffiti in ’94. Residing and working in Hamburg. 1010’s (pronounced tenten) artworks invite the spectator to enter a curious world of graphic. He is now one of the most renowned Urban artists within Germany.
Otecki is a Polish street artist, muralist, illustrator, and printmaker. Otecki was born in 1984 in Warsaw, Poland. His main themes are monsters and creatures he imagined when he was a child.
Slawek ZBIOK Czajkowski was born in 1982, he lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. He graduated at the Institute of Plastic Arts and Culture at the University of Zielona Góra. His background is in graffiti although street art is his favourite medium.
Robert Proch aka “Tone”
Robert Proch is a Polish painter, muralist and animator with his own unique style inspired by state-of-the-art animation, impressionism and modernist graffiti.
RASPAZJAN is a polish artist that creates dream like murals mainly in Poland. His work has a special style that is influenced by the industrial era and the political past of Poland.
Daniel Kalinski aka CHAZME or CHAZME 718 is a Polish painter, illustrator, architect, and street artist. In 2008, the artist graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Technology in Warsaw. His street work is often created in a collaboration with other artists such as SEPE and NAWER.
NAWER is an architect, designer and street artist. He graduated in Architecture and Urbanism in Krakow. He has been involved with street art since the mid 90’s. In 2003, he began to share his time painting and freelancing in interior design.
Krzysztof Syruć aka PROEMBRION is a Polish artist who was born in 1984 and started doing Graffiti in1996. His early work consists of abstract lettering which quickly evolved in style and manner. PROEMBRION’s body of work is spread across a broad variety of media, including canvas, walls, room installations, digital and graphic design and even Augmented Reality programs.
Seikon is a freelance street artist and painter based in his native Poland. He is well-known for his usage of signature geometric line-based imagery.
Krik Kong is a graffiti and street-art artist from Łódź in Poland.
SC Szyman is from Varsovian and his works can be spotted all around the city. He works in poster form, which are pasted onto numerous walls, electricity boxes and telephone boxes etc

Czarnobyl is a Polish self-taught artist born in 1974 who has been concentrating on stencils for more than 20 years. Czarnobyl’s works aim to remind us of technology and its’ unfulfilled promise of a better future. His creatures are completely torn, lonely and oppressed. Czarnobyl’s protagonists appear as mutated outsiders of an evil and unequal game like the mutants of the Megapolis.
Bartek Świątecki aka Pener was born in 1981 and lives and works in Olsztyn, Poland.
He is particularly interested in the shape, form and nature of mixed material within the process of time and how this language informs visual communication in a public space. His Work ranges from paintings, walls, animation and site specific installations
Monstfur is a Polish artist duo, known for creating amazing stencils, and showing their works in streets and galleries around the world.
Sicoer is a Polish artist. He began his career on the streets with graffiti, but has now also taken on calligraphy, painting, and tattooing.
