Let me introduce you a fantastic English Street Artist named JXC ! I’ve selected one of his murals on my Street Art Best of for February 2017.
Brought up on English south coast, JXC is now based in London. Taking inspiration from popular culture and current affairs
he combines his graphic style with a mix of photorealism and a touch of humour.
I asked him to write few words about him and his art.
StreetArt360: “Josh, tell us when and how does it all starts ?”
JXC: “My lightbulb moment with Graffiti happened when a friend at school brought in a copy of ‘Subway Art’.
Like many others who discovered Graffiti this way, for me it was like seeing colour for the first time!!”
StreetArt360: “Where do you find your inspiration?”
JXC: “For me, the challenge is taking an idea in ones head and realising it on a wall. The fact that it may no longer be there in a matter of days, only adds to the allure of painting on the street. For if I walk away with a photograph, then the battle has already been won!”
Better than words, discover his Artwork. Enjoy !
